Common questions

How many days do you need for a Vietnam trip?

Ten days is a comfortable minimum for crossing the country north to south with the main stops. Two weeks or more lets you add Sapa, the Mekong delta or beach days in Phu Quoc without rushing. We have ready-made itineraries for every trip length.

How do you get between regions on a Vietnam itinerary?

Cheap domestic flights make the big distances between Hanoi, Da Nang and Ho Chi Minh City much shorter. There are also sleeper trains and sleeper buses. Within regions you can use taxis, Grab or a private driver. In each itinerary we note the recommended connection.

When is the best time to set off on a Vietnam itinerary?

The weather changes by region, but in general March to April and October to November are comfortable across most of the country. The north is cool in winter and the south is tropical all year. In each itinerary we point to the season that suits each region.

What does each ready-made itinerary include?

Every itinerary is built day by day with recommended places, sensible connections between regions, areas to stay and on-the-ground tips, so you can set off with no extra planning.
